Miller's Hide-A-Way Resort is located in Benzie County Michigan, between Big and Little Platte Lake. Little Platte Lake is a stones throw from your front porch.

Miller's Hide-A-Way Resort is situated in a pristine, quiet setting a quarter mile through the woods off Deadstream Road between Beulah and Honor, Michigan.

Escape to the rustic cabins you knew and visited as a child with your family. Relive the days of fishing, swimming, barbeques, roasting marshmallows and telling scary stories around a night-time fire. Take your children "back in time" so they can enjoy and have fond memories of an "old-fashioned" family vacation.

There are five, 2-bedroom cottages which are perfect for groups of up to five people. Our 3-bedroom cottage will accommodate up to eight guests. All cottages have a screened in porch which overlooks the lake. Whether you are enjoying the use of your cabin-assigned 14-foot aluminum boat, sitting by the campfire or taking a break inside your own screened-in porch, you will find this the perfect place to unwind. Boat motors are available for rent and the first bundle of firewood is complimentary.

When you are ready for some outdoor games you can play a game of shuffleboard, horseshoes, tetherball or volleyball. The kids will love the playground swing set and the whole family can relax together at the beach. Each cabin has an outdoor grill and picnic table which make for fun-filled barbeques and picnics.

Moor your boat at the dock at our Big Platte Lake lot which is within a short walking distance from the resort. The lot has a great swimming beach and the dock permits tie-down of up to three boats. Big Platte Lake has a large variety of fish including Walleye.

Fishing is great on Little Platte Lake. Fish for bass, perch, pike or pan fish. There's even an in-door fish cleaning station and deep freezer space for today's catch.

We are open April through November, and there is plenty to do, no matter when you decide to plan your next getaway. The resort is a perfect haven for those who hunt, fish, swim or boat and offers a memorable family get-way.

Hunt for delicious Morel Mushrooms in the springtime or fish for steelhead and brown trout on the nearby Platte and Betsie Rivers. Summer is the perfect time for swimming, boating or kayaking. Take a charter fishing adventure on Lake Michigan, or a canoe trip down the Platte River.

Visit the famous Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore or golf at one of the many beautiful area golf courses. For many people fall is the most spectacular time of the year in Michigan.

Whether hunting, fishing, kayaking or just enjoying the great outdoors, you will be amazed by the blaze of autumn color that surrounds you. If your vacation is incomplete without shopping, you will not be disappointed as there are many unique and interesting places to shop and eat nearby.
